Known as the Jewel of Africa, Uganda is home to the Queen Elizabeth National Park, known for its tree climbing lions, Murchison Falls, The Nile River, and the Mabamba Swamp, famous for its birdlife, including the elusive shoebill.  The Bwindi impenetrable forest is a refuge to some of the world’s last remaining wild mountain gorillas.
